Co-Parenting Support
During Separation and Divorce
Co-parenting sessions provide valuable support for navigating the challenges of managing separate homes, schedules, and the transportation of children. Coordinating the upbringing of children can be extremely frustrating without a clear plan and mutual understanding. During our sessions, parents will learn what to expect from one another, maintain a healthy and formal style of communication, set boundaries regarding relationships and personal information, focus on factual discussions rather than emotional reactions, and establish reasonable response times for texts and emails. Adapting to a new way of relating takes time, and therapy can help facilitate this transition more smoothly.
